On Wednesday our local MP John Howell and our Thame Town Mayor Paul Cowell opened our brand new grass nets, right before our Summer Holiday Cricket course. We have 6 new grass pitches which means we can practice in several different kinds of pitches; slow, fast or even a turning track!
The grass nets are the ideal place to practice before playing matches as the wickets are specially designed to play like a main square.
We at MP Sports Academy are looking for a level 2 assistant coach help us this summer.

Town council has awarded us with the "Business Champion Award" for supporting the local community.
Flood Light Cricket Nets start from 18 th September
Flood Light Cricket Nets for hire We now have our floodlights up and running so we can now do "night" training sessions for anyone that would like to hire the nets at night or do one 2 one training at night.
For the first time in the history of Oxfordshire, there are floodlights at a cricket facility.
We are still running our regular net hiring and One 2 One sessions as well, but this is for people that cannot make the regular sessions or would like a change up to regular training.
Covid -19 I can say with great regret that as of now under the latest ECB and Oxfordshire cricket board guidelines that all recreational, and professional standards of cricket have been postponed until further notice.
This means the cancellation of the upcoming indoor net sessions, the diving catches in the swimming pool, and the Easter Cricket Course. Due to these cancellations anyone that already paid, will receive credit for use on another cricket course.
This year our 2020 year plan is now out we have 10 months of activities for both kids and parents.
This year we will be doing a new event for our local b Kids, we will be organising a residency cricket course at Epsom collage, including meals and a fitness programme. This will be during the school holiday from the 10th of August until the 16th of August.
We have recently bought a brand new Marquee at our new ground, it is currently available for hire. For more details please contact us.

Professionally qualified ECB level 3 coach, played 11 years in First class cricket in India ,Manoj Parmar, assisted by other qualified coaches, will lead the sessions and all the facilities of Lord William’s lower school indoor sports hall will be available for use, including nets,training pitch, bowling machine, and Games equipment.
The basic format of the sessions will be:
