January Newsletter
Dear all,
I hope you are well and have had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. I am Joe Barnett and I am pleased to introduce myself as a new member of the Admin team. I previously played for the academy for 6 years and this was a great experience which helped foster my love for Cricket - Manoj is a very inspiring coach! Therefore, I am very pleased to be part of MP Sports again, albeit not on the playing side of things.
The Academy has hit the ground running at the start of 2025 and Winter nets begin on Sunday 12
th January at Lord Williams Lower School Sports Hall. The sessions will be run by Manoj and his team and this is a great opportunity for players to get some practice, improve their cricket skills and to build their confidence ahead of the Outdoor Season. The sessions for players aged 6-11 are being provided free of charge by the MP Sports Development Trust and these sessions are unfortunately fully booked. There are still a few spaces remaining for the Hardball sessions for players 10-15 which start on the 12th so please follow the link to book your spot for the sessions
